At No.4 Dental Studio, you can be inspired by the latest that digital dentistry has to offer.

We can use the latest technology to plan your treatment ahead, and help you to visualise the final outcome before we begin.

Photographic Scans and Digital Smile Design

No more messy putty impressions! Your teeth on screen in 2 minutes!

This creates a digital 3D image of your teeth and gums in just 2 minutes. This means we can see your teeth on screen in detail, and we can show, discuss and plan your treatment with you.

This helps you to understand and visualise your teeth, and we can show you how your final result will look, all thanks to digital smile design.

We use the Medit i900 intra-oral scanner. Medit are based in Seoul, South Korea and are produce some of the world’s best scanners.

Digital 3D CBCT scans

For your dental implant treatment to go predictably and smoothly, it’s important that it’s planned fully and in detail.

CBCT gives us a 3D X-ray view so we can measure and assess your teeth and jaws. This means we can tell you how your treatment will progress before we start.

Your CBCT scan will also tell us about the condition of your jawbone, and whether we need to improve this as part of your treatment

3D printing in Digital Dentistry

3D printing is becoming ever more popular in dentistry.

It’s an efficient, reliable, accurate way to produce models and appliances. This means that 3D printing can help to improve the flow of your treatment, with less time waiting between appointments.

We can use 3D printing for dental models (pictured) to show and check how your finished smile and bite will look. It’s also widely used in dental implant treatments, for implant-positioning guides or a set of temporary teeth to fit directly onto your implants.
