Teeth whitening offer – FAQs
I’m not a regular patient at No.4. Can I still have the whitening offer?
Yes, of course. The offer is open to both registered and non-registered patients.
If you have a dentist elsewhere, you should continue to see them for your regular appointments and general dental care, but you can come to see us at No.4 for your whitening.
How and when do I pay?
If you book online or in person, you would pay the full amount at the time of booking. We accept cash, card or bank transfer.
If you’re buying a gift voucher, you would pay online by card at the time of purchase.
Which means that when you come to your appointment, your whitening is all paid for.

How many appointments do I need?
There’s usually just 2 appointments needed.
At your first appointment, we’d check that whitening is a good option for you, and take a digital scan of your teeth so we can get your kit custom made
Then we’d see you for a second appointment usually a week or two later to check your whitening trays fit comfortably, and to show you how to apply the whitening gel effectively at home.
You’d have the option of a follow-up review after your whitening so we can check that everything has gone smoothly for you.
Sometimes, we may need extra appointments, especially if there’s any other treatment to carry out before, alongside or after your whitening.
What type of teeth whitening is on offer?
We offer professional home whitening. This includes custom-made whitening trays which you use to whiten your teeth at home, usually over the course of 1-2 weeks. This is the most comfortable, predictable and controllable way to whiten your teeth.
Are there any restrictions?
Teeth whitening is available to over-18s, but there’s no upper age limit.
Teeth whitening is not available for women who are pregnant or breast feeding.
What if I need any other treatment?
Sometimes, we may need to help you achieve a good, stable level of dental and gum health before starting your whitening.
Also, you may need to change any visible existing restorations (e.g. fillings, crowns, composite bonding) to match your new colour. We’ll talk through this with you at your first appointment so we can plan the best way forward for you.
Can I change my mind?
Of course.
If you change your mind before your consultation, you can claim a full refund (please give us 48h notice for any cancellation)
If you decide after your consultation that whitening’s not for you, you can either put your payment towards other treatment, or claim a partial refund of £208
Terms and Conditions
The Winter Whitening offer includes:
- Initial consultation to assess suitability for whitening
- Intra-oral photographic scan
- Upper and lower custom-made whitening trays
- 4 syringes of home whitening gel (either for daytime or night-time use)
- A final review appointment after you’ve completed your whitening
The Winter Whitening offer does not include:
- A full dental health check or mouth cancer check
- Any other dental or hygiene treatment needed or recommended before, alongside or after your whitening
- Extra syringes of whitening gel
- Replacement whitening trays if they are lost, damaged or lose their fit
- Replacement whitening trays which no longer fit following any restorative treatment (e.g. replacement crowns)
- Anything else outside the normal provision of teeth whitening
The fee for Winter Whitening is payable in full in order to confirm your first appointment.
The first appointment must be attended within 3 months of the date of payment. The last available date for payment is 31st December 2025.
The fee paid will be credited to your account on confirmation of your booking, and covers the items listed above. If you need any further treatment before, alongside or after your whitening, this would be payable at our usual fees. We would discuss, agree and provide you with a fully itemised treatment plan before commencing any treatment.
If No.4 Dental Studio is not your usual dentist, you are welcome to visit us for your teeth whitening.
Dental restorations (e.g. crowns, fillings, veneers, bridges) do not change colour with whitening. After whitening your natural teeth, you may need to have such restorations renewed to match the new colour of your teeth.
If, following your initial consultation, whitening is unsuitable for you or you choose not to proceed with whitening for any reason, your initial consultation would be charged at £99 from the credit on your account. If, after asking us to order your custom-made whitening trays, you then choose not to proceed, a further charge would be made to cover the cost of manufacture. Your credit may be refunded, or used towards any other dental treatment at No.4 Dental Studio.
You can cancel your appointment in advance and receive a full refund if you do not want to reschedule. If you give less than 48h notice to re-schedule or cancel an appointment, a fee may be payable to reschedule, or deducted from any refund.
You should continue to visit your usual dentist for ongoing dental health checks and hygiene appointments before, during and after your whitening. If your dentist recommends any dental treatment before or around the time of your whitening, you should let them know you are considering teeth whitening so a colour match can be planned.
If you have used all your whitening gel and want to whiten your teeth further, you may buy extra syringes of gel over the counter from No.4 Dental Studio within 12 months of the date your whitening trays were manufactured.
